I was born in Hauppauge, NY and lived there until I moved to Kennesaw, GA when I was 12 years old (a middle schooler!). The arts have always been a major part of my life. I started playing viola at age 7 and played it throughout elementary, middle, and high school, partaking in extracurricular orchestral activities such as the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Though I loved music, the visual arts have always had my heart. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, from begging my mother to make projects with me on rainy days in my early childhood, to going to a prestigious art camp in New York one summer during middle school, to deciding to go to college for art.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Kennesaw State University in May 2015. This is my sixth year of teaching and I am so happy to be doing it at Chapel Hill Middle School!

I was exposed to the art of teaching at a very young age. My mother was a preschool teacher, and watching her teach and prepare materials at home when I was younger helped me to develop a love for teaching and helping others. I started teaching in my early teens, when I helped as an assistant teacher at a Sunday school.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me spending time with family and friends, playing with my two dogs, crocheting, crafting, or drawing and creating art of my own!
